We accept Mastercard, Visa, Personal Check or Money Order. All
bookings will receive an email confirming the cabin, rate, deposit,
and balance due. The security deposit is $100 which is due at time
of booking and is separate from the cabin rental fee. It will be
refunded at the end of your stay.
Cancellation Policy etc
- Cancellations are accepted up to thirty (30) days prior to
scheduled arrival, minus a $25 processing fee.
- Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days prior to your
arrival will be charged for the full rental amount unless the cabin
can be re-rented.
- All cancellations requests must be in writing by email or
mail.
- All cancellations will receive a confirmation email upon
receipt of your request. If you do not receive an email, please
contact us immediately by phone at 606-348-5505. Our cancellation
confirmation email is your release of liability for the rental
cost.
- All no shows will be fully charged in accordance with the
quoted rates in the rental confirmation email. There are no
exceptions to this policy.
- If you would like to change your reservation either at or
before the 30 days, your security deposit can be applied to a
future rental based upon availability.
- In the event a thirty (30) day notice is not possible, we will
do our best to re-rent the cabin for the entire cancellation
period. If we can re-rent the cabin, we will refund your deposit
less a $50 processing fee.
- Please note that poor weather conditions do not constitute
reason for cancellation or a no show.
- No refunds are given after arrival or in event of an early
departure.
- We are sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets at this
time.
- Stay at Lake Cumberland cabins are smoke free. An automatic
cleaning fee of $150 will be charged to your credit card for
removal of smoke related odors and /or damage to the cabin caused
by smoking inside.
We have made every effort to
maintain all of our equipment at the cabins. Our cabins provide a
stove, refridgerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender,
television(s), radio with CD player, DVD player, hair dryer,
ceiling fans, electric heat and air conditioning. Serenity Cabin
has a Corn Hole Game and an ice maker in the fridge. Cabin House
has a TV in the gathering area and in the master bedroom. In the
event of the cabin equipment breaking, we will make every effort to
repair or replace it in a timely manner, but will be unable to
issue a refund.
You will find dishes , eating and
cooking utensils, cookware, towels and bed and kitchen linens and
outdoor charcoal park grills. We also supply liquid hand soap, hand
lotion, dish soap, paper towels, plastic wrap, foil, trash bags,
toilet paper and paper napkins.
Damage Policy
Our cabins contain valuable
equipment and furnishings. All guests are to notify us immediately
of any damages to the cabin or its contents.
Guests are responsible for damage
that includes repair or replacement of cabin furnishings, cleaning
and maintenance as well as the loss of subsequent income during the
time of repairs. The cabin is inspected prior to each rental and
after departure for any damages.
Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other
than the normal amount of toilet tissue down a stool or put grease
or leftover food down any drain. If it is found that this has been
done, the charge to repair the system will be charged to you.
All guests agree to keep and leave
the cabin and premises in the same condition it was found in at
time of arrival There is not a daily maid service. The cabin will
be cleaned after your departure.
Linens and rugs are reviewed prior
to each arrival and after each departure. Replacement costs for
missing and or damaged linens will automatically be billed to your
credit card.
Reservations
Reservations are made by phone and
you will receive a confirmation email from us in reply to your
policy acceptance email once we receive your security deposit and
it has cleared the bank.
